Sustainability helps us drive long-term value for all stakeholders of Inter Pipeline; from our employees in our offices and out in the field, to our customers who rely on our consistent service, to the communities in which we operate.

Safety and protection of the environment are top priorities for our employees, customers, shareholders and the communities in which we operate. Our sustainability report is a valuable opportunity to further connect with stakeholders and share our progress. We produce a comprehensive report every second year and we post supplementary sustainability performance statistics each year. We also file a CDP report annually. Our reporting is informed by sustainability issues considered to have material impacts on our financial or operating performance, as identified by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and internationally recognized frameworks including the Global Reporting Initiative’s GRI Standards and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

We are reporting on data relating to our Canadian Operations for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 calendar years. A full ESG report and update on Inter Pipeline’s strategy will be produced in 2021.
