Junior hockey leagues are important not only to the players on the teams, but also to the communities they represent. Often these leagues provide pathways for young players to advance their hockey careers, pursue educational opportunities through scholarships, and build character through teamwork and leadership. For communities, junior teams foster local pride, bringing neighbours together.
For several years, Inter Pipeline has proudly sponsored junior hockey league teams that represent the communities where we live and work. One of these teams is the Kindersley Klippers where we recently announced a new 10-year partnership of the team and the local arena.
“We are the only Inter Pipeline operation in Saskatchewan, and having the company invest in our community means so much to me and the rest of the Kindersley team. Outside of work I regularly volunteer with the Klippers and seeing this level of support makes me even more proud to be part of both the Kindersley community and Inter Pipeline.”Jenn Mueller, Administrative Assistant, Kindersley Field Office
This September, IPL recently attended the Klipper’s home-opener game at the newly named Inter Pipeline Arena. Watch the video below to learn more about IPL’s sponsorship of the Kindersley Klippers and their arena.
