I Am Inter Pipeline: Jordan Stimpson’s Volunteer Journey
Meet Jordan Stimpson, to his colleagues, a Senior Procurement Analyst supporting Inter Pipeline’s Facilities Infrastructure team, to young hockey players in Calgary, Coach Jordan. As an active member in his community, Jordan has dedicated over 245 hours in coaching youth hockey as a non-parent youth hockey coach, making him Inter Pipeline’s top 2023 volunteer.
“Jordan embodies community spirit, both within Inter Pipeline and in his personal life,” says Kris Rivest, Supply Chain Management Supervisor for our Facilities Infrastructure team. “He’s a dedicated member of the team and it’s no surprise he brings the same level of commitment when volunteering his time to coach hockey. Through his volunteer efforts, Jordan sets a great example of how employees can contribute meaningfully to their communities while also expressing the spirit of teamwork in the workplace.”

Employee Volunteerism at Inter Pipeline
Falling under our iCare program, the iCare Giving Platform facilitates our workplace giving and volunteering program that makes it easier for employees to support the causes that matter most to them. Through our iCare Giving Platform, employees like Jordan can record their volunteer hours, earning $10 volunteer dollars for each hour logged up to a maximum of $150 per year. These volunteer dollars can then be directed towards charities chosen by our employees.
Many employees proudly serve as Inter Pipeline ambassadors when volunteering in their communities, and during 2023, over 300 employees tracked more than 4,300 volunteer hours.
