Inter Pipeline Announces Voting Results from Annual Meeting

CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – May 12, 2015) – Inter Pipeline Ltd. (“Inter Pipeline”) (TSX:IPL) announced today the voting results from its annual meeting of shareholders held May 11th, 2015 in Calgary, Alberta (the “Meeting”). Shareholders were asked to vote on a number of proposals as described in detail in Inter Pipeline’s Management Information Circular (“Information Circular”) dated March 26th, 2015.

A total of 124,051,337 common shares representing 37.11% of Inter Pipeline’s issued and outstanding shares were voted in person or by proxy in connection with the Meeting.

Election of Directors

Inter Pipeline is pleased to announce that all board nominees were successfully elected for a term ending at the next annual general meeting. The voting results are set out below:

All other resolutions tabled at the Meeting were successfully approved by shareholders with very strong support, including the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditors. The approach to executive compensation as detailed in the Information Circular was overwhelmingly accepted with 98.03% of votes cast in favour.
